Mindfulness Meditation Classes

Are you looking for meditation classes? Mindfulness meditation classes are usually taught by health-care professionals who have taken an MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) teacher training course. The MBSR program was founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn of the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

The traditional program is 8 weeks in length. You’ll usually commit to one hour a week of group training, a silent day retreat, and 45 minutes of practice daily. It’s a great way to learn how to meditate, and we highly recommend it (with a qualified teacher).
