Artist’s Notes: This painting of a classic TTC Red Rocket is from a series done from visits to the Halton County Railway Museum.
The familiar “Red Rocket” was introduced on Toronto’s streetcar routes in 1938, and the last of this fleet was retired in 1995. This beauty is still cared for and takes visitors on a short route at the Halton County Railway Museum in Milton, Ontario.
