How could anyone improve on the ORIGINAL sticky mat? Yes, Virginia, yoga mats USED to be made in the USA, and the original sticky yoga mat was the top selling mat for years. Today it’s still made in the USA, and we still sell that version.
As the yoga fitness trend took off, more and more people of different shapes and sizes started taking classes. Mats also had to be designed for different styles of yoga, from hatha to hot, ashtanga to power yoga, and many more types to come.
This is the original sticky yoga mat in a newer version that is extra thick-y, stick-y, cush-y and comfortable.
Any yoga poses involving sitting or standing on the knees is challenging, but when you’re working on a non-padded surface, you need to be extra careful that you don’t injure yourself. Always use a yoga mat that’s well-padded.
